For appropriate disposal of hazardous waste in Manatee county please click the button for Manatee County

There are many items Sarasota and Manatee counties do not allow in bulk disposal such as our dumpsters. Scroll to the bottom of the page for a list of these items. They can be properly disposed of separately at the land fill and at chemical collection stations. If items are found in our dumpsters and we are fined by the county, we will in turn, bill you for adding prohibited items to the dumpster. Sarasota allows for disposal free of charge at their collection points. Here are the locations for proper disposal points.
